Child Safe Guidelines

Warriewood Surf Life Saving Club is committed to providing a safe, supportive and inclusive environment for all children and young people. We take our responsibility seriously and actively promote practices that protect their wellbeing, support their development and ensure they feel safe and respected at all times.

Our Member Protection Team

Our Member Protection Team is here to support a safe, respectful and inclusive environment for all members. If you have a concern, need guidance, or would like to understand your options, the team is available to provide confidential advice and support.

Elissa Auzins

MPIO

The Member Protection Information Officer (MPIO) is available to provide advice and support to all members who may have an issue or concern within the Club. They are the first point of contact for anyone wishing to raise a concern or understand the options available to them.

Angela Shanahan

Complaints Manager

The Complaints Manager supports the handling of formal complaints within the Club. After the MPIO has been contacted, matters that progress to a formal complaint are referred to the Complaints Manager, who manages the process in line with the Club’s complaints policy.

Nikki Robilliard

Child Safe Coordinator

The Child Safe Coordinator plays a key role in supporting the safety and wellbeing of children and young people within the Club. They oversee child safeguarding practices, respond to concerns, and help ensure all matters are managed with care, confidentiality and in line with Club policies.
