Warriewood Surf Life Saving Club was established in 1951 by a group of 12 local men, including Jock MacKay. Since then, the Club has grown into a strong and proud community organisation, built on the dedication of its members.
Our Founding Members and Life Members have been recognised on the Honour Board displayed in the clubhouse, unveiled at the 2019/2020 Annual General Meeting.
Warriewood SLSC has a long and proud history of lifesaving, carrying out numerous rescues along our local coastline. This area is known for its unique natural features, including the Warriewood blowhole, Turimetta and Mona Vale headlands, and surrounding rock ledges.
With a strong focus on fitness and capability, our active members also participate in a wide range of surf sports events. Warriewood SLSC was the first club on the Northern Beaches to host a Masters Carnival, reflecting our long-standing involvement in surf sports and community engagement.
