The Warriewood Surf Life Saving Club Committee is made up of dedicated volunteers who generously give their time to provide leadership, governance and day-to-day management of the Club. Each member plays an important role in supporting our operations and ensuring we provide a safe, well-run and inclusive environment for all members.
Club President
The Club President provides overall leadership and direction for Warriewood Surf Life Saving Club. They oversee the management of the Club, including planning, financial sustainability and governance, while ensuring all activities align with Surf Life Saving regulations. The President also represents the Club at a broader level and supports the committee and management team in their roles.
Vice President
The Vice President supports the Club President in providing leadership and direction for Warriewood Surf Life Saving Club. They assist in overseeing the management of the Club, including planning, governance and financial sustainability, while ensuring activities align with Surf Life Saving regulations. The Vice President works closely with the committee and may act in the President’s role when required.
Club Secretary
The Club Secretary is responsible for the administration and governance of Warriewood Surf Life Saving Club. They manage correspondence, maintain records and coordinate meetings, including preparing agendas and minutes. The Club Secretary works closely with the committee to ensure effective communication and that the Club meets its governance and compliance requirements.
Treasurer
The Treasurer is responsible for managing the financial operations of Warriewood Surf Life Saving Club. They oversee budgeting, financial reporting and day-to-day financial management, ensuring the Club remains financially sustainable. The Treasurer works closely with the committee to support informed decision-making and ensure all financial activities comply with relevant regulations and Club policies.
Club Captain
The Club Captain is responsible for overseeing all lifesaving operations at Warriewood Surf Life Saving Club. They coordinate patrols, manage rosters and ensure members are appropriately trained and equipped to deliver safe and effective beach operations. The Club Captain works closely with patrol teams and the committee to maintain high standards of safety, compliance and operational readiness across the Club.
Chief Training Officer
The Chief Training Officer is responsible for overseeing all training and education at Warriewood Surf Life Saving Club. They coordinate courses, manage training programs and ensure members are appropriately qualified and proficient to perform their roles. The Chief Training Officer works closely with trainers and the committee to maintain high standards of education, compliance and member development across the Club.
Junior President
The Junior President is responsible for overseeing the Nippers program at Warriewood Surf Life Saving Club. They coordinate junior activities, support Age Managers and ensure a safe, engaging and well-run program for all participants. The Junior President works closely with the committee and volunteers to promote participation, development and a positive experience for junior members and their families.
Junior Vice President
The Junior Vice President supports the Junior President in overseeing the Nippers program at Warriewood Surf Life Saving Club. They assist with coordinating junior activities, support Age Managers and help ensure a safe, engaging program for all participants. The Junior Vice President works closely with the committee and volunteers to support junior members and their families throughout the season.
Child Safety Officer
The Child Safety Officer supports the safety and wellbeing of children and young people at Warriewood Surf Life Saving Club. They oversee child safeguarding practices, provide guidance on child safety matters and respond to concerns appropriately. The Child Safety Officer works closely with the committee to ensure all matters are managed with care, confidentiality and in line with Club policies.
